Bag Lady

Hey y’all and thanks for stopping by!

Our feeds are so filled with designer bags these days that I thought I’d share my faves for every budget! Some of these bags (3/4) I most certainly didn’t pay full price for (SCORE)!

Under $1200

dsc04839

Gucci Disco Bag (shop here and here) – I LOVE this bag! It’s easy, casual, and perfect for a weekend grabbing some beers and crawfish. I got mine at Neiman Marcus on major sale (like under $600 major sale)! Neiman’s does a bag sale a few times a year and I just happened upon it.

$1200 – $1700

Saint Laurent Monogram Leather Clutch (shop here) – This bag was also on sale for a limited time when I scooped it up. I love the pebbled leather and the gold monogram. I always get a ton of compliments whenever I use it. I mostly use it for dressier occasions. If I’m not using it, I keep it in its duster bag to keep it in like new condition.

Saint Laurent Monogram Matelasse Leather Chain Wallet (shop here) – This bag took me a while to find. The washed light pink with gold hardware is a quick sell. The silver hardware is currently still in stock and I’ve linked it above. The chain is removable so it can be used as a clutch, as well. This pretty bag made my giddy with joy as I unboxed it!

$2000+

Gucci GG Marmont Small Pearly Shoulder Bag (shop here) – This has been my latest addition and priciest purchase to date. However, I did get it while it was 20% off for a limited time. I feel like the luckiest duck that I stumbled across this one in my local Neiman’s. This bag goes with absolutely everything, from ripped denim to lacy frocks. It has been a staple in my wardrobe.

I hope I’ve given you a little insight on how and where to spend your hard-earned pennies when you’re ready to take the plunge into designer bags. I’ve been working on this collection over the past several years and love each one individually for different reasons. You know when you get a dog and people say the pup picked you, not the other way around? I feel like it’s the same way for bags.

Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have!

As always, thank you for reading!

Xoxo, Liza

These are a few of my Favorite Things

Hey y’all and thanks for dropping by!

I thought I’d share with y’all my latest purchases and tell you why they are my FAVE things rn.

The IT BAG of Spring

This bag was popular last S/S and it looks like this trend is back this season! Some versions of this bag can run you over $200, but this pretty below costs $82 and is SOLID. The quality is great and I can’t wait to style this for y’all.

Selfie Queen Tee and Heart Hoops

This casual tee is the softest thing ever and currently on sale. I styled it with flares, these heart hoop earrings, and a red lip for a post with Kroger featuring some beautiful roses (you can check it out on my Instagram: @thatblonderebel)!

The Least Expensive but Most Chic Sunnies EVER!

Okay, these bad boys come in six different colors. I ordered the Matte Black and the White and they are so retro and BOLD. Best part? Less than $10!

Pretty in Pink

OKAY, but like, how Instagrammable is this top?? I will be pairing this with the white version of the sunnies above. I ordered my usual size, but with the length so short, I just reordered it in one size up. Perks? This top is the prettiest shade of pink and on sale for under $19!

Beauty is What is Underneath – Literally!

Say it with me now, MY SKIN MATTERS. The older I get, the more I am paying attention, and pouring more time into taking care of my skin. These two latest products have been amazing additions. The Honey Lip Scrub is only $6 and keeps your lips smooth and not chapped. The Pink Clay Mask is $8 and you can get four uses out of each package. My skin feels moisturized and brighter after each use. Best practice? Use each of these products twice a week for best results!

These Happy Tops

If you keep up with me, either here on the blog, or on my Instagram, you know I LIVE for flowy tops. Butterflies seem to be a big trend this season and you might remember from this previous post, but I’ve always been into these winged beauties. This off the shoulder flowy number is so fun and I think with a big ribbon tied in my hair and the bamboo bag, it’ll make for a great look!

Shop: Butterfly Top (here), OTS Ruffle Top (here)

I hope y’all enjoyed this roundup of my favorite things right now and be on the lookout for some posts of how I styled these pretties!

Let me know if you’d like to see more posts like these!

Be Your Own Valentine

Well, y’all, the day has arrived. V day is here.

Now, some people think it’s an overrated holiday forced upon us by big corporations.

However, I think it’s just an extra day out of the year to shower ourselves and the people we care about with some extra love! I am currently single, but that doesn’t stop me from buying into the hype of Valentine’s Day. I sent out my snail mail with vintage-inspired Valentine’s to my nearest and dearest, treated these fingers and toes to a mani/pedi, and bought myself flowers (because according to Henri Matisse, there are always flowers for those who want to see them). Whether you’re celebrating with your SO, getting a group together for a GALentine’s dinner, or hanging by yourself with some Hershey kisses, be good to you and give yourself an extra pat on the back with love today.

Here are 5 things you can do to treat yo’self TODAY:

  1. Take a hot bath – unwind, pour yourself a glass of wine, and take a soak. For some extra relaxation: throw in a floral bath bomb (like the one here).
  2. Take a walk – teach your body that behavior matters: get your blood circulating, put on your headphones, quiet your mind, and jam. Need some new tennies? Check out my new gym shoes here!
  3. Bake your favorite treat – Brownies, cookies, gluten free something? What’s something that you absolutely love to snack on but don’t have often enough? Here’s a recipe for one of my favorite sweet treats – Strawberry Cake!
  4. Send some kindness to someone else – Write 1 positive email, text, or card praising or thanking someone you care about. I love this stationary here!
  5. Buy yourself a happy – sometimes pulling out your wallet can put the biggest smile on your face, am I right? This pretty initial necklace has caught my eye and you can find it here! I also just treated myself to this honey lip scrub ($6) and pink clay mask ($8)!

Scroll down for a Valentine’s-inspired look!
