Here are some things I’ve bought from Amazon this summer!
This tie dye top
Stylus keychain (easily open doors and press buttons without using your hand)
This bathroom needed a refresh and by switching out my shower curtain ($26) and bathmats (also $26), it has a whole new feminine feel! Sharing the new pieces below and linking what I already had!
Shop this shower curtain here
This shower curtain was wrinkled pulling it out of the package, but used the steamer for 10 minutes and it was perfect!
I will be changing out the art, but felt like it works in the space for now
I love having a small lamp on my vanity and use it quite often as I find lighting in apartments can be harsh sometimes. Linking my Glow Tonic, Micellar Water, and Hand Soap (hands down, best scent ever!)
I also always purchase bath sheets instead of towels, they give you a lux feeling by being so oversized!
These bathmats come as a set and are so soft. I also love that they have grips on the bottom so no slipping here!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope this gives you some inspiration to tackle your own bathroom without it costing an arm and a leg!
So I decided to do a little table refresh on this side table I got from HomeGoods three years ago. It had water marks and just didn’t fit into my apartment aesthetic.
Case in point, the table below
So here’s what I did. I covered the black hardware in painters tape and started painting the top an antique white that I picked up from Hobby Lobby. I did three coats and let it dry. Then I picked up Rub n’ Buff in gold leaf and let me tell you, a little goes a long way! I used an old rag to rub it in and it dries very quickly.
The next day I sealed the painted wood with a coat of Mod Podge, let it dry and
THERE YOU HAVE IT!
What do you think?!
It’s finally up, y’all!
As many of you know, I made an intention at the beginning of the year to really deep clean my space. I’ve been living in Houston for 2.5 years now and in my studio apartment for the last year and a half. To say I’ve accumulated a lot would be an understatement. If you’re looking for ways to make big (and small) changes to your space, and mind I’ve got the list for you!
Here are some of the products that have made the biggest different in my decluttering/organizing plan of 2020:
I hope you found this helpful!
I was able to throw away three trash bags, donate three bags, and sold a handful of stuff on Posh! It was a great way to get 2020 started on the right foot.

Friends. We need to talk about the most important thing that happens in bed…
Your sleep, duh!
Two summers ago, when I first moved to Houston, I ordered a mattress off of Amazon. Now, no offense to Amazon, but the mattress has been hell. Lumpy, sinking, and not the best quality. You can ask my friends and coworkers. I would start my day not standing up straight, aching, and uncomfortable. I was kind of at my wits end.
Enter Big Fig. I got this new mattress about two months ago. And y’all. The sleeping game has changed. You get the white glove service, which means my old bed was removed and the new mattress set up for me upon delivery. This bed was specifically made to cushion, comfort, and support more body weight. It is firm (it has 1600 individual coils – whoa)! It has given support a whole new meaning. There are four layers of foam that is built for comfort. I am sleeping so much better and it is because of this mattress, I know it. Yes, I’m working with Big Fig, but my opinions are my own, and I could not recommend this bed enough. If you’re experiencing any aches and pains like I was, I would definitely check them out.
Here’s to getting better sleep, am I right?!
Welcome back to That Blonde Rebel!
Last weekend I co-hosted a bridal shower that was Fiesta themed. Both myself and the bride grew up in San Antonio so this party was ON THEME!
If you’ve never been to the Fiesta Store on Main St. in San Antonio, GO! I got my dress, flower crowns, and decor there and it’s your one-stop shop! You can get amazing wreaths, flower crowns, and even earrings. I also ordered paper flowers, mini donkeys, and other decor from Amazon!
I got food from Whole Foods (cake, cupcakes, snackies, and queso) and the best mini tacos you’ve ever had from Trader Joe’s. They have both chicken and beef! I even picked up some cacti!
Scroll through for some major inspiration for your own Fiesta.
Now I’m ready for some siesta time!
