I had such a nice weekend in South Padre last weekend, y’all. The island holds a special place in my heart. I grew up going down there with my best friend and her family, and then started going with my family, too. Going down there every so often fills me with happy memories and goofy adventures with my gal pals that are still my best friends to this day.
I thought I’d give you the lowdown on where we stayed and where we ate.

Where we stayed: We stayed at the Sapphire condos. They are also connected to the Pearl, which is a hotel. There’s a spa, multiple pools and hot tubs, a hut to order a refreshing pina colada, and easy beach access.
What we ate: We stuck with our favorites! We ordered in two nights and got Russo’s pizza and then Gabriella’s which is delicious Italian. My dad and I also drove over to Port Isabel to Manuel’s to pick up the BIGGEST AND BEST breakfast tacos you’ve ever had. For a nice night out to celebrate my parents’ 40th wedding anniversary, we went to Liam’s Steakhouse.
